Models showcasing at the ramp at the Guwahati edition of Shikhar India Style Tour 2023
New Delhi (India), June 5: Shikhar India Style Tour, with styling partners KT Professionals, the third show concluded in the foothills of the Assam Mountains in the city of Guwahati on the 3rd of June, 2023. The show took place at the Prestigious India Club, showcasing designers Samant Chauhan & Aniket Satam.
Delhi-based designer Samant Chauhan said “The Starry Night” was a handcrafted glamourous delight. The heavy Western silhouettes with embellished embroideries and multiple layers came in the hues of the transition of night. This added uniqueness and made his collection stand out.
Fashion to him is not just a popular trend, but also a very basic form of representation that is always conceptual.” Adds Samant Chauhan
Secondly, the winner of India’s National fashion reality design hunt Sketch to Store, mentored by Sabyasachi Mukherjee Designer Aniket Satam, said, “My collection Bella Vitta took ques from the serene landscape of our host city Guwahati, Assam, the collection is a sheer burst of Blooms and freshness. Hand-painted delicate watercolor prints blossomed on easy breezy resort silhouettes. Bougainvillea pinks, Jasmine white, Violets and aster lilacs form the core palette of feminine summer separates. Tea time dressing at its flirtatious best is how I will describe this Resort 2024 capsule.”
Renowned Models Sonalika Sahay and Aanchal Jain walked the ramp for the designer duo. The show witnessed the presence of well-known names from the Guwahati Fashion industry, like Medha Saikya, Dipankar Das, Naveen Garwal, Prasanth Ghosh & many more personalities.
The show had a grand musical opening with an Indian Idol runner-up performance by Singer Sanchita Hazra. The Show director was Lokesh Sharma, and backstage was Pujan Kapur Sharma. Stylist Bharat Gupta brought life to the beautiful creations of designers.
