Toyota Bidadi Half Marathon Held on Sunday, March 23

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], March 24: The second edition of the Toyota Bidadi Half Marathon took place on March 23, with a strong focus on safety and sustainability.

Organized by the Bidadi Industries Association and the BIA Foundation, the event successfully celebrated nature and community while promoting physical fitness.

The first edition of the Toyota Bidadi Half Marathon, held in March 2024, was a tremendous success, creating awareness in the community. This year’s marathon once again witnessed an overwhelming response, with thousands of participants from various sections of society, including local communities, employees, family members, and industries.

The marathon, held in the scenic outskirts of Bangalore at Bidadi, provided a thrilling running experience. Starting from the Bidadi Industrial Area near Jollywood Studio, the event featured races of 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km. Runners enjoyed a picturesque route with minimal traffic and tree-lined pathways.

Themed around safety and sustainability and organized for a charitable cause, the run included several attractions and prize money. Participants benefited from well-equipped water stations, nutritional support along the route, attractive finisher medals, the famous Bidadi breakfast, and commemorative T-shirts.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Mr. A. Murali, General Secretary of BIA, expressed gratitude, stating, “This charity run, themed on Safety and Sustainability, provided an enjoyable experience while promoting fitness and health. The running arena at Bidadi offers a serene environment, and we hope it becomes a preferred destination for 10ks and Half Marathons among Bangaloreans.
